Four-Wheeler's. Job hunting for a company that has your passion tied in is a challenge. Once you find a company to give you a interview than another challenge begins. I have a friend who had a bad interview yesterday, and I know they would do a great job for any company and has a great background and resume, but they feel they blew the interview.
  • Relationships with others survey and thoughts
The other night I got talking to some friends. Two guy friends of mine and a woman. We got into the discussion on relationships and how they meet their person they are dating at to things they like and aren't happy with. It is funny that no matter who I talk to a lot of the time the same dis-likes come up and likes. I am working on a book on this subject and would like your help. Listed below is a part from the bible and below that is a quick survey.

  • Children and Parents Relationships
I have heard so many times over the years from friends that they wish their kids could stay young for ever or be young again. It is so nice when you are the most important thing in the world to your kids. I have two great kids or should I say young adults now. My kids are in College and a Senior in High School. I know I loved the times that I would come home from work and they would come running to me and give warm hugs and kisses, would want to sit on my lap and watch a movie, would want me to play games with them or go to the park. They would have their mom bring them to my work to see me and hang out.
  • Taking time for work for more important things in life
So do you work extra hours everyday? Do you take work home at night? Do you go into work on your days off? Do you tell people in your lives you can't attend a social event or do things with them because you need to work on a project? Work is important and I know with the economy that it is even more stressful to many people who don't want to lose their job. I know many people are looking for jobs also.
  • Job Market News - What really is the situation
Do you feel the way the sign above says? Do you feel stress about your job or having enough money to retire on? Some people are feeling stress on keeping there job, wondering if it will be eliminated. People who have had there positions eliminated may be stressing on finding another job. I wonder the current job reports really give us a clear picture of the job market. Do we always here about the companies cutting full-time employees down to 32 hours a week or do we hear about the companies that haven't given their employees a raise for two years. I know what that feeling is like and it is tough, your expenses go up and your income doesn't. I know their are companies that replace full-time openings with part-time employees. There are companies trying to pay health benefits to less employees.

  • God will help you with your new job
I was watching the news on TV and it said about how high the unemployment rate is and how many people each week file new claims for assistance. You probably know many people who have got laid off from there hob, or there hours cut or even lost there job permanently. There is so much uncertainty in the work place currently. If you have a job currently be thankful of your blessings. If you are starting a new job remember the following:
  • Minnesota Senate Race Cost keeps rising
The Franken and Coleman cost keeps increasing. Isn't there a better use for the money being wasted on all of this. We already had one recount done at a cost and now Coleman isn't happy with the results and takes it to court. We are tying up courts and on TV they said it could take another 1 to 3 months. What will all the cost be once it is over. During that time they could have been trying to solve our Economy problems but no we are spending a ton of money on a fight over the recount. When will it end? Read the article that was written about some of the costs:
  • Keep Investing in your Retirement Account or Not
A question friends always ask me is should they keep investing in their 401K programs or not. Most people have had a rough year or more in the stock market or their 401k plans. But a lot of 401K plans are like mine were the company will match 50 of your match. I liked the below information I read today:
  • Just a Dog or Just a Relationship
    I love getting inspirational stories from friends. I like to pass them on to the world so it may help others and lift their spirits if they are down. The below stories does make you think, and the heading "Just a Dog" a lone got me thinking of all the dogs I have had in my life. Read and enjoy;
  • Over come worry with Faith
Have you had days where you let a problem ruin it? Have you had nights that you could not sleep because you couldn't get rid of a problem. I know in the past I had times when I couldn't sleep, I wasn't hungry. During the one time I lost over 30 pounds due to stressing over a situation that was going on in my life. But after going to church and taking seminars and reading many books. This happened to me last week:
  • Real Estate effects Agents to Home Depot employees
Real Estate Market is still showing the effects from the fall. We hear about it on the news everyday. Today I heard that Home Depot may be laying off employees and freezing the pay of some executives. I know Real Estate investors, agents, lenders and home builders who all are hurting really bad. Here are some of their stories:
  • Divorce is not an option article
On the front page of the In Touch magazine has a head line of "Divorce is not an Option". Then is says "For the first time Jennifer speaks out about trouble with Mark and why she isn't wearing her wedding Ring. I know this could be a touchy article if you are divorced, going through a divorce, married or getting married or want to get married some day. Could Divorce not be a option in a marriage?
  • Paradigm of friendship sign
When I used to work for Nash Finch I traveled to North Carolina to help with the transfer of ownership for some stores and to supervise some existing stores. It was the first time I had traveled to North Carolina. I couldn't believe how beautiful the parts of the state I saw. For sure there was lots of trees in that area. But when I was in a hotel I saw the below sign on friendship. I feel it can help people with friendships, to worry less and enjoy life more. Here it is:
  • How well do you take care of yourself?
At work we have a Dietitian who is always on me to eat better. She is very concerned with every-one's health. I know she is right, we can enjoy life so much better when we feel good about our selves. It is a lot better to be able to do things and not be so winded. I also feel we need to have not only our physical health but our mental health. We need to keep also working on living a happy and a positive life. Here are some ways to live better:
  • Taking care of one of your biggest Assets - Your Credit
What is your credit score? How often do you get it checked? I check my Credit score several times a year and I am also have a service that will send me any changes that could effect my credit score. A good credit can save you so much money from your house loan, car loan to credit cards.
  • Asking for Help and Helping Others in Need
How well are you able to ask for help? I know I have a hard time asking for help, I like to try to solve most problems on my own. But I am not saying that is the right thing to do, I have since I have gotten older started asking more from my friends for guidance. Do you ask others for help? Why or why not? Do others ask you for help? If they do do you help out?
  • How do you solve problems - what route to take?
What do you do when you face a problem? Do you run from it, avoid it or face it head on? Are you afraid of making a mistake if you handle the problem wrong?
  • The World is Flat Book is a wake up call to everyone
I know this is a touchy subject for some people, but I feel it is timely subject to the state in which our Economy currently is in. I know from the past that things will come back around. I know the economy is like relationships, it is like a Roller Coaster ride, you have up times, down times and smooth times. But as on a Roller Coaster ride the world keeps changing fast and we need to change and adjust to it. Think how fast the world has changed just in the last 25 years. Look at Computers in 1984 to now. How often was a computer used and by how many people in 1984, not many. Look at some of the businesses that were in business in 1984 but are not in business now. Why are they not around anymore? I would suggest is they refused to change as the world was changing. They refused to re-tool and do things differently. I am reading "The World is Flat - a brief history of the Twenty - First Century 3.0" book by Thomas L Friedman. I would suggest to add this to one of your next books you read. Think about the following:
  • Protect yourself so if you lose your Cell Phone or PDA
What would happen if you lost your Cell Phone or PDA today? Could someone get important information off your phone? Could they make phone calls on it and run up the bill? What could they do? I got the below article e-mailed to me and thought it would be good information for everyone to think about.
  • So many things in life to enjoy
What are the things in your life that bring you happiness? Do you see little things daily as pleasures or do you feel only happy when big things go your way? Some people let their day be determined if you have a good day or not, or if their relationship went the way they wanted it to go. I know the older I get the more little things I enjoy. I know when I used to compete in sports I would get really upset if I didn't do good, now I can laugh it off most of the time and no the next hole or game could be great. For instance in a tournament this last week my second game in bowling was 174. I could have gotten upset but I didn't and my last game was a 278. How do you enjoy the day?
  • How long will it take you to get Debt Free
Wouldn't it be nice to be totally Debt Free? Wouldn't it be nice to find a magical money tree so you could pay everything off?
