The colours of your web page must be determined based on the attractiveness of the colours in the eyes of the visitors. It has been found that changing of colours on every page is not wise. If you are not sure of the colour scheme of your site the internet can help you in designing web page. Find a site people generally like and draw ideas regarding the colour scheme of your site.

You must ensure the readability of the text while doing ecommerce web design. Only when the application of the colours is right the texts are readable on the site. In other words, when the back ground is of light colour the text should be in dark colour and vice versa.
