The Ocean Tower is named for its seashore décor and closeness to the beach and Boardwalk. It has been a favorite of Resorts’ guest since Atlantic City’s first casino opened in 1978. The Ocean Tower features 480 rooms that offer breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean, beach, and the world-famous Boardwalk.

Situated on the coast of of the Atlantic Ocean, this resort community on Absecon Island provides you with a wholesome experience. A vacation destination, where the fun never ends. Days and nights are equally vibrant here. Have a tee at the golf course, partake in the world class entertainment and enjoy the nightlife at any of the towering casinos or rejuvenate at any of the spas while you are touring Atlantic City.

If you just want to walk and take in the beautiful views and fresh air of the beach you can always stroll the boardwalk. The Boardwalk is full of cute little shops and also you could take a peek in each of the casinos that are located on the boards. Conveniently located on the boardwalk is a Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum which is always a fun and enlightening experience.

Until recently, Bally’s indoor pool was the best in Atlantic City. With fountains, a tropical ambience, several Jacuzzis, and a large main pool, the Spa at Bally’s continues to be one of the most popular places to relax. Bally’s actually a second, smaller, indoor pool, which is located in the Claridge tower.

If you begin to feel parched between your hands of blackjack, or just need a quick drink during the intermission of one of Showboats live shows, you will be in luck as there are three separate bars all located within the hotel. If you start getting hungry the Showboat will still have you covered with seven different areas to grab some dinner or a light lunch, ranging from full on steak and chops at the House of Blues restaurant to a bagel and coffee at their full service Starbucks.

As demand for additional beachfront space rose, the Boardwalk grew. This expansion led to the invention in 1884 of another Atlantic City staple, the rolling chair. A canopied chair designed to be pushed from behind, it made traveling the length of the ever-expanding Boardwalk easier for wealthy vacationers.

If you are interested in trying your luck then this city is Las Vegas for you. The numbers of casinos here definitely don’t outnumber Las Vegas but the sheer fun and adventure definitely matches its charm. So join the gang on the tables and try your luck. Win or lose at the table but end of the day this city makes you the real winner with the joy of enjoying every moment of your life here.

In the early days, places to stay were simply boarding houses, but in the early 20th century they began being replaced by hotels. Two of the most well known were the Marlborough, a beautiful Queen Anne style hotel, and the Spanish-Moorish designed Blenheim Hotel. Eventually these two were merged into the Marlborough-Blenheim Hotel.
